    A belt conveyor is a continuous conveying equipment that uses a conveyor belt as a traction and load-bearing component to transport materials through the movement of the conveyor belt. It can form a material transportation process on a certain conveyor, from the initial feeding point to the final discharging point. It can not only transport dispersed materials, but also transport finished goods.     The expandable belt conveyor uses a conveyor belt as the traction mechanism and also as the load-bearing component. The entire conveyor belt is supported on rollers, passing around the drive roller and tension roller. The drive roller pushes the conveyor belt with friction to complete the transportation of materials.

The system design of a scalable belt conveyor can realize the design of power devices, transmission devices, execution systems, operation and control systems, and other systems.

    Power unit: The power unit includes the engine and its supporting equipment, and is the power source of the mechanical system. Electric motors or electric rollers can provide the power source for expandable belt conveyors.

    Transmission device: The transmission device is an intermediate device that transfers the power and motion of the engine to the ground system. The transmission device of a scalable belt conveyor is usually completed by a reducer or a reduction mechanism in an electric drum and a drum.

    Execution system: The execution system includes mechanical actuators and execution components. The execution system of a scalable belt conveyor can include a conveyor belt, idler rollers, sweeping machine, tightening device, conveyor belt convergence device, tail moving device, braking device, etc.

    Operation and control system: The operation and control system is a device that coordinates the power device, transmission device, and execution system to accurately and reliably complete the functions of the entire machine. The operation and control system of a scalable belt conveyor mainly consists of a control system for protective devices, motors, and hydraulic devices.
